The (mostly) colourful labels on the boxes and cases in which the magic lanterns were sold.
(part 4: the others).

 



The magic lantern that came across the box provided with this label was a 'Jung America' (Magic Lanterns, various manufacturers Germany part 1). The label shows a trade mark that is made up from of the initials of the manufacturer G.F. (meaning unknown) and the head of a deer carrying some concentric circles between its antlers. A similar logo was found on the Union magic lantern on the same page.
 


This label carries the same logo and trade mark (top left corner). Manufacturer unknown.

Trade mark F&B, J.B. The label of the German manufacturers Fleischmann & Bloedel, the successor to J. Berlin (J.B.), located in the city of Fürth.

Label on a small cardboard box with magic lantern slides. In the yellow beam we see the goddess Bavaria, the trademark of G.B.N (Gebrüder Bing Nürnberg). The slides are marked G.B.N. and T.v.K. (Theodor von Kramer, the designer).
