  A Slight Mistake.

A French series of magic lantern slides published by Maison de la Bonne Presse, Paris.
All six plates have a label with the name of the publisher, the title of the series and a number from 1 to 6.

Soft Sadle.
Funny set of three magic lantern slides. They measure approximately 3.25 inches square (83mm).
 


Double slipping slide, having two slipping glasses either side of the fixed glass.

During the show the lanternist first has to shift the slipping glass with the image of the bird slowly to let her enter the stage. Then in one move the cyclist  appears by shifting the second slipping glass.

The Cyclist and Tramp
A set of 12 amusing magic lantern slides made by W. Rider & Co., circa 1900.
It is not certain that the images below are shown in the correct order. A cyclist goes for a ride, drinks a soft drink on the way, takes a nap on the side of the road, is robbed of his clothes and bicycle, asks an old woman to show the way and finally returns on foot and in a down-and-out situation.
